About Us
Join us for monthly Dayton Women in Sports Meetups! This is a new
networking and social group for women who work in sports, participate in
sports, or who just love sports and want to connect with others who have
similar interests.
This will be a welcoming space to swap stories and start building a supportive
network of like-minded women in the Dayton area.
Our goal is to have social events, networking events, and panels throughout the year!
Founder
Hi, I’m Val! I’m the founder of Dayton Women in Sports with over a decade of experience in the sports and entertainment industry. My background includes video production and marketing with the University of Dayton Athletic Department, supporting stadium technology and client success at Daktronics, and executing brand activations for major sports events in the region.
I am a downtown Dayton resident and passionate about building community for women in sports. Outside of work, you’ll find me running with 5 Rivers Running Team, working out at Crossfit Dayton, or exploring Dayton breweries.
I can't wait to meet you!
